The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs softball teams traveled to Indianola on Friday for double header action against the Indians and would sweep Indianola, defeating the Indians 14-4 in game one and would shut out Indianola in game two 13-0.

Homeruns would be on full supply as Jenah Gray, Sophia Bauman, and Addie Abens would all hit homeruns in game one against the Indians in the 14-4 victory. Tessa Jones would start on the mound in game one pitching the entire contest, pitching seven innings allowing only seven hits, four runs, and had nine strikeouts while going 4-3 with three RBIs.

The homeruns would continue in game two as Bauman and Abens would go yard again in the 13-0 victory over the Indians. The Mustangs would score an incredible nine runs in the top of the second, while Kale Montag would shine on the mound pitching the complete game going for four innings only allowing two hits while punching out two Indians in the 13-0 victory.

The Mustangs advance to 22-2 and prepare for their next contest on Monday as Dallas Center-Grimes travels to Carlisle to face off against the #4 ranked Tigers. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm.
