After beating Nevada 12-11 in Jefferson on Friday night, the Greene County High School baseball team is back in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play tonight vs. Roland-Story in Story City. The win vs. the Cubs stopped an eight game losing streak overall, and was the first win on the home diamond after opening the season with six straight losses. Also, it was just the second victory this season for Coach Kyle Stalder’s team, and both came vs. Nevada. The Rams are 2-10 overall and 2-9 in conference games while the Norsemen will be looking to improve on their 13-7 record. R-S topped Greene County 10-0 by the 10-run rule in Jefferson earlier this month.

The Rams have four games scheduled this week, including tomorrow night in Jefferson vs. non-conference opponent Manson-Northwest Webster Tuesday on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Wednesday’s game is in Des Moines vs. Saydel, and a clash with Carroll High in Jefferson on Friday in non-concerence play can also be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
