In non-conference high school baseball on Tuesday night in Jefferson, Manson-Northwest Webster visited Allensworth Field in Jefferson. The game was heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with Greene County winning by a final score of 11-1 in six innings via the 10-run rule. The Rams won in non-conference play for the first time this season, for the first time by the 10-run rule, and for the second time in the last three games, both at Allensworth.

Senior Noah Hinote went all six innings on the mound and he evened his record at 2-2 for the 3-11 Rams. The right-hander allowed just one hit, one walk, two batters hit with pitches, andhe recorded five strikeouts. The Rams had two errors and the run was unearned.

The Cougars, 0-17, were charged with six errors and the Rams collected eight hits. Senior Lane Fields tripled, singled, and he knocked in a run. Senior Camden Jacobs singled twice, as did junior Nathan Towers who had one RBI and was on base three times. Junior Teagan Chisholm had a base hit and he also reached base three times. Senior Gavyn Winters had a single and was on base three times as well. Senior Isaac Carman had one run batted in.

A trip to Heart of Iowa Activities Conference rival Saydel in Des Moines is on the schedule for tonight, weather permitting.
