A Jefferson teen was recently sentenced to prison for a September incident in Warren County.

According to court documents, 18-year-old Camden Strennen pled guilty to an amended charge of a Class D Felony for willful injury resulting in bodily injury and a serious misdemeanor for assault-causing bodily injury or mental illness. He was sentenced to five years in prison for the felony charge and one year in prison for the misdemeanor charge, with those to be served concurrently.

The charges stem from an incident on September 15, 2024 in Milo. Court documents show that Strennen assaulted a victim which resulted in a concussion, multiple facial fractures, severe blood loss and an MCL tear in the victim’s left knee.

As per the plea agreement, the Class D Felony charge was originally a Class C Felony for willful injury-causing serious injury. He was also ordered to pay over $2,000 in fines, surcharges, court costs and victim restitution. A second suspect, 18-year-old Kendall Griffin of Rippey, is awaiting a sentence hearing on August 18th.
