The Jayettes were forced to play two games in two cities on Wednesday and finished 1-1.  Perry started the afternoon with a 12-0 loss to PCM.  The night continued with a victory in Nevada 12-2.

The Jayettes surrendered four runs in the fifth to end the contest with PCM. Perry was out hit 12-2.  Cate Erickson and Karagyn Whelchel each had a base hit.  Kanealy took the loss pitching four innings.

The Jayettes got off to a hot start when they got to Nevada.  Perry picked up the four inning victory after Ayden Erickson and Karagyn Whelchel each drove in three runs.  Kanealy picked up the win as she surrendered three hits and two runs.  The right hander struck out five Cubs.

The Jayettes move to 5-8-1 (5-7).

Weather permitting Perry travels to Roland-Story today for a doubleheader starting at 5:30.
