The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council approved a payroll change notice for Masin Shearer in the Municipal Utility Department after his six month probationary period, moving his hourly pay to $26 an hour. The Council also approved a resolution allowing the possession and consumption of canned alcoholic beverages in designated areas for Panorama Days. These areas include the town square and at Michael Mills Park. People will need to keep in mind that they need to stay on their best behavior though, as the police department will be able to ask problem individuals to leave should the need arise.
