Mental health services were renewed in the June meeting of the Panorama School Board.

Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that the Board approved the renewal of the district’s contract with Life Connections. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio why this was an important item for them.

“This allows us to continue giving support and resources for our families if students need some therapy, need some guidance, just need to talk to somebody. So it allows us to keep that collaboration for our families.”

Huebner mentions that the original contract was secured with help from two members of the district’s administrative staff, Angie Clouser and Liz Ratcliff. He adds that the two of them worked together to find a good program to work with over the last school year, and brought the recommendation to continue working with and expand services Life Connections to the Board in May of 2024. Life Connections is in the district four days of the week, with a flexible fifth day in case there are students who need mental health services.
