The West Central Valley Wildcat baseball and softball teams prepare for a hard battle on Thursday as the Wildcats travel to Van Meter High School for double header action against the Bulldogs. Baseball is scheduled to play at 5pm and 7pm with softball to follow at 5:30 and 7:30pm.

Both Wildcat teams enter an uphill battle as the Van Meter softball team is currently ranked #1 in Class 2A with a 22-2 record. The Bulldogs baseball team enters tonight’s contest with a four game winning streak as the Wildcats look for their sixth win of the season.
