After Thursday’s double header against the Van Meter Bulldogs was cancelled due to the weather, the West Central Valley Wildcat baseball team hopes to return to action today as the Wildcats play host to the Ankeny Christian Eagles. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm.

The 5-12 Wildcats look at an uphill battle as the Eagles enter tonight’s contest with a 11-7 record with a six game winning streak giving Ankeny Christian positive momentum. West Central Valley enters tonight’s contest with a three game losing streak, hoping to bounce back and shift the momentum against the Eagles.
