On Friday, the West Central Valley Wildcat baseball team played host to the Ankeny Christian Eagles. A big second inning would help the Wildcats secure victory, scoring an impressive 12 runs in the bottom of the second to secure a 19-13 victory over Ankeny Christian.

The Wildcats would use three pictures against the Eagles as Tryce Dlouhy, Zach Teague and Tyson Partlow would all come in to pitch combining for seven hits, 13 runs, 11 errors, 14 walks and nine strikeouts. WCV would combine for 10 hits and 12 RBIs as Colton Lindsay and Dlouhy would both have two hits and three RBIs leading the team in hits alongside Teague and Aiden Clauson who also had two hits a piece.

Wildcat baseball is scheduled to face off against the ACGC Chargers today for a make up game from June 23rd. First pitch is scheduled for 6pm.
