South Hamilton topped Perry Friday night as the Bluejays played without top hitter Geren Kenney in the 7-5 loss at Progressive Field.

The first inning doomed Perry as SH led 3-0 before the Bluejays took the batters box.  Gauge Freeman brought home a run in both the third and fourth to help keep the game close.

Ian Fisher took the loss in two innings of work.  The right hander struggled with his control surrendering five walks and six runs only two earned.  The sophomore did strike out five.

The Bluejays out hit the Hawks 12-5.  Mason Hayes had three hits and scored two runs.

Perry drops to 3-18 (3-10).  The Bluejays hit the road on Monday to take on Grand View Christian.
