Head coach Galvan of the Panorama Panthers softball team reflected on Wednesday night’s fall to the ACGC Chargers 10-9.
“The girls battled hard in our second game of the night against our conference rival but came up short. Had the tying run on third but were unable to get her home. We had the bases loaded once and didn’t score and left twelve runners on base. We just didn’t get the timely hits when we needed them as we have been able to do the last two games so to me that sums up the game for us.”
Able to find a silver lining, coach Galvan is still confident in his girls moving into Earlham today.
“Very happy with how we have been hitting top to bottom overall these last three games and hope to continue that into the tournament this weekend in Earlham.”
The Panthers face off against the Clarinda Cardinals and Riverside Bulldogs today in Earlham, for the Earlham Softball Tournament.
