
A structure in the 27000 block of 250th Street in Dallas Center was burned down Friday afternoon.
According to the Dallas Center Fire Department, crew members responded to the report of a fire around 12:45pm. The department tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the building was a shop that belonged to a nearby family that contained several vehicles inside. Crew members note that some of the vehicles were saved before the structure was destroyed.
Fire officials say that no one was in the building at the time of the fire and no one was hurt during the incident. The fire is still under investigation, including what caused it. Agencies that assisted included the fire departments of Adel, Minburn, and Van Meter. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
