Tina Kanealy struck out career high six Hawks in Senior Night victory on Friday over South Hamilton 6-1 in Perry.

As heard on KDLS, the Jayettes celebrated the two seniors on the squad ahead of the win.  Kanealy had her best pitching performance of her career in the complete game win.  She gave up four hits and one unearned run with six K’s.

Kate Schuttler got Perry on the board with a two run single in the third.  Karagyn Whelchel drove in two insurance runs in the sixth.  The Perry catcher finished the night with three hits.  Schuttler also crossed the plate for two Jayette runs.

Perry out hit South Hamilton nine to four.

Perry improves to 6-8-1 (6-7) and will travel to Grand View Christian on Monday for the Heart of Iowa finale.
