pickleball-benches

A local non-profit organization in Jefferson continues its mission to beautify the community with a recent donation.

The Jefferson Garden Club paid for two benches in the newly installed pickleball courts in Russell Park. According to the garden club, the benches are intended to be used for players that are switching off when using the new pickleball courts. The two benches cost $2,204 and the garden club says the money for that project came from their annual Holiday Tour of Homes that happens every other year in December, with the next one slated for next year.

The Holiday Tour of Homes is where people can pay a small fee to visit four selected homes in the community that are decorated for the holiday season. Garden Club President Deb Kucerak is grateful not only to the hosts of their annual fundraiser, but also to the folks to tour their homes.
