The AC/GC Chargers and West Central Valley Wildcats faced off last night, finishing the bottom of the seventh inning from their first game with a 5-4 victory for the Chargers, while the Wildcats took the second game of the season 7-4.
Things started off with the team finishing off their game from earlier this season, with the Chargers the only ones to bat. As the teams played the bottom of the seventh inning, Payton Policky, Tommy Skram and Will Skram were able to load the bases, and Blaise Dorsey hit the RBI single for the walk off win.
The full game started afterwards with the Chargers unable to score in the first or second innings, while the Wildcats put up two runs in the first and four in the second. AC/GC secured a run in the third, was scoreless in the fourth and put up a run in the fifth while holding West Central Valley scoreless for all three innings. The Chargers were unable to score in the sixth inning, while the Wildcats tallied three runs, and AC/GC was only able to get two runs in the seventh inning off a double base hit from Noah Kading, and the game ended with the Chargers 7-4 loss.
