Tatum Johnson hit a two-run blast as Urbandale beat Perry 12-2 on Tuesday in Perry.

The J-Hawks brought the lumber as they out hit Perry 15 to six in the four inning mercy rule game.  Urbandale scored three in the first to take the lead and never felt threatened.  They attacked Tina Kanealy early and often swinging at majority of first pitches.  The Perry senior took the loss in three 1/3 innings of work.

The Jayettes offense was led my Karagyn Whelchel, who had two doubles.  Kalley Whelchel drove in her older sister with a triple in the fourth.  Kate Schuttler added a hit and RBI.

Perry falls to 6-10-1.  The Jayettes travel to Clarke Community for a non conference game at 7P.
