The Yale 4th of July Celebration is this weekend, and an annual favorite will once again take place.

Yale Jamaica Bagley (YJB) Time, Talent and Treasure (TTT) President Pat Young says that the group will once again be serving an omelet breakfast fundraiser. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that their 4th of July breakfast is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year, and why the group decided to have one during the holiday celebrations.

“Doing it on the 4th was a great event for us, because there’s a lot of people gathered in one area. And as I said, it really is kind of nice to meet people from the area. And it’s a family event, the 4th of July. So we see a lot of people that we maybe haven’t seen for a long time. And the parade follows afterwards, and there’s so many other activities that the town offers. And this year there’s lots of things going on too, so we’re just happy to open up that day.”

Young mentions that this is not the only time of the year that they serve omelets though, as they have been asked to serve them for special occasions, or to cater for parties as well. The YJB TTT breakfast fundraiser will be on July 4th from 8-10am in the Yale Community Building.
