The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball Team scored first, but gave up 6 runs over the final 3 innings against North Polk on Wednesday to fall 6-1 in Adel.

The Tigers were first to get on the scoreboard as they got 1 run across in the bottom of the 2nd inning. ADM was able to hold the lead until the 5th inning, when North Polk tied the game at 1-1. From there, in the top of the 6th inning, the Comets notched 4 runs and tallied 1 more in the 7th, to get win number 17 on the season, taking care of business at 6-1. 

ADM falls to 9-19 on the season (3-12 inside the Raccoon River Conference), while North Polk improves to 17-11 (12-2 RRC). The Tigers are back in action today, traveling to Pella to take on the Dutch at 7pm, while the Comets are off until Monday, when they’ll host Carlisle at 7pm.
