On Wednesday, the West Central Valley Wildcat softball team traveled to Afton to face off against the East Union Eagles.  The Wildcats would steamroll through East Union, defeating the Eagles 19-4.

Grace Bleckwehl would get the starting nod for the Wildcats and would pitch the complete game, allowing only eight hits and four runs through five innings with three strikeouts. WCV would tear up the Eagles defensive, notching in 19 runs in 15 hits with 14 RBIs. Maleah Speichinger would lead the charge for WCV in RBIs with four followed by Macy Long with three RBIs helping push the Wildcats ahead of East Union 19-4.

Wildcat softball returns to action on Thursday at home playing host to the ACGC Chargers. First pitch is scheduled for 7pm.
