The Adair County Clover Kids were able to continue a fun collection event from last year.

Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that the Clover Kids collected plastic bags last year, and were able to have them turned into a table that they donated to be used at the Adair County Fairgrounds. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they continued the project this year as well.

“So we actually got two tables this year. We plan on doing the same next year, possibly looking at some benches or something additional, but it’s been a great project. Clover kids love it. The community loves it. Fair board loves it. It’s been a really good thing. So we plan on continuing that.”

Savage mentions that the tables have not been delivered yet, but that they are hoping they arrive before Wednesday, as they are very easy to put together, and get set up.
