The Perry Public Library is showcasing a movie on Monday that ties with their summer reading program.
Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper explains that a free movie will be shown that matches with the library’s theme of “Leveling Up.” She notes that the library held a movie day in June, where this movie on Monday is going to be the sequel of the first one. Pieper is not giving too much away about the movie, but provides a teaser.
“It’s a Disney movie about a character in a movie game (who) kind of messes with the world that they’re in, that’s the hint I can give you.”
Pieper invites people of all ages to come out and bring a blanket or pillow to make viewing more comfortable. She points out that children under the age of nine must have an adult in the library for their entire visit, while children under six years of age must have constant adult supervision for them. Pieper adds that no registration is required and is free. The movie is being shown inside the library community room from 2-3:30pm.
