There are some upcoming programs with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department that are happening soon.

JPRD Assistant Director Henry Pohlmeyer says first through sixth graders are encouraged to sign up for dodgeball that will take place this coming Wednesday at the Greene County Community Center. He states that the first through third graders are from 1:30-3pm and the fourth through sixth graders will be from 3:30-5pm. The cost to participate is $5 for community center members and $10 for non-members. The deadline to register is this Monday.

Pohlmeyer points out that the Adult Co-Ed Softball League has its deadline on Tuesday to sign up a team. Teams will play games on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the city softball fields from July 15th through August 28th, with all games starting at 6pm.
