On Monday, the Panorama Panthers softball team play host to the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks, with the winner advancing to the second round of the playoffs. Panorama enters Monday’s contest with a 8-21 record while the Tigerhawks currently sit at 3-17.

Lexi Galvan and Bridgete White currently lead the Panthers in hits and RBIs with 38 and 27 respectively. Galvan, a dual threat, also leads the team in strikeouts with 51 so far this season. Galvan, White, and the Panther softball team look to advance to the second round of regional play but first must host the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks for the first round.

It’s all or nothing for the Panther softball team as the winner advances and the loser’s season comes to a close. Panorama hosts Colfax-Mingo on Monday, with first pitch scheduled for 7pm for the first round of regional softball action.
