A Perry man was taken into custody on Saturday, after crashing into a home, causing extensive damage.
According to court documents, the Perry Police Department responded to a call along Sunflower Street, where it was discovered that a 2011 GMC Yukon ripped through a home around 1am. The criminal complaint states that when officers arrived on scene, they found and identified the driver as 26-year-old Heladio Hernandez Cortez to be lying on the ground and not quite alert.
