Due to severe weather on Saturday, the playoff matchup between the West Central Valley Wildcat baseball team and the Nodaway Valley Wolverines has been suspended until Monday, July fifth with a start time of 5pm.

Play action will resume in the bottom of the second with runners on first and second for the Wildcats. WCV leads Nodaway Valley 1-0, after Jarel Madison would come in to score off a passed ball. Wildcats take the diamond on Monday in the bottom of the second with two runners on and no outs.

Winner advances in towards the regional championship in Class 2A susbstate 8 action on Monday between the WCV Wildcats and the Nodaway Valley Wolverines. Baseball resumes at 5pm from Ogden.
