The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library has a few events to finish out the week.

Library Director Jerri Hawkins says that tomorrow they have a youth Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics program with the Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach from 2-3pm for children aged six to 11. She adds that Thursday is LEGO Mania Day, where young patrons can come in and get creative, making things with LEGOs to their heart’s content from 4-5pm. Registration is required for this event, and can be completed on the library’s website on their event calendar.
