With the Dallas County Fair underway today in Adel, there will be plenty of 4-H related events happening tomorrow.

Iowa State University Extension Dallas County Youth Coordinator Annie Schlieman tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the first day of the 4-H/FFA Horse Show will start at 7:30am at the South Arena. She says that from 8-10am will be the Dallas County Farm Bureau 4-H/FFA Breakfast in the Entertainment Plaza, followed by the Clover/4-H/FFA Pet Show on Center Stage at 10am and the Showmanship Clinic is in the Livestock Arena at 10:30am.

Schlieman details that coming up tomorrow afternoon is the 4-H Dog Show in the Livestock Show Ring at 3pm, followed by the Flag Raising Ceremony at 5:30pm, a Sponsorship Dinner in the Entertainment Plaza at 6pm, and then the Ultimate Showman Contest will be in the Livestock Arena at 7pm. She adds that all animals needed to be registered yesterday in order to participate in any of the shows. Additionally, Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live everyday of the fair from 10am-6pm. A link to the full list of events can be found by clicking here.
