In eight meets, the Perry Summer Swim has come out on top in all eight. Sophia McDevitt led the club in her second season to this tremendous success. PSS finished the season perfect for the first time since 2017. Coach McDevitt loved the winning, but also the margin of the victories.
“The amount that we have competed in and won by it’s really astonishing to me because as a coach I get to see the changes from last year and last year we had meets where we were winning, but we were winning by maybe 40 or 50 and this year we were averaging a win at about 170 to 200 points.”
The swimmers will now turn their attention to the conference meet in Carroll on July 12.
