A patron favorite at the Stuart Public Library is next week.
Librarian Rachel Majerus mentions that a youth program with the Stuart Police Department will be happening on July 16th. She shares that this is a different day of the week than usual for the program.
“Normally our Books and Badges programs take place on Thursdays, but we’re changing things up this one time. Our theme for Books and Badges this month is ‘Christmas in July.’ Sergeant Katie puts together the best programs with lots of giveaways, so I encourage anyone with young children to attend that event.”
Majerus tells Raccoon Valley Radio that this is a fun theme for the event that has been done in the past, and has been a big success. She adds that the day of the week was changed this time because in this instance it worked best to have it on the Wednesday instead.
