The Dallas County Fair is in full swing, with more 4-H activities tomorrow, as well as the start of the grandstand entertainment.

According to Iowa State University Extension County Youth Coordinator Annie Schlieman, tomorrow will see the 4-H/FFA Bucket Bottle and Returning Bucket Bottle Calf Show at the Livestock Show Ring at 7:30am, followed by the Junior Feeder Beef Show at 8am, and the Beef Show at 8:30am.

Schlieman mentions that more 4-H events will happen tomorrow afternoon, including the Clover Kid Static Judging from 3-4:30pm with the Clover Kids Day Activities from 3:30-5:30pm, and the 4-H Fashion Show on Center Stage at 4:30pm. She adds that the Dallas County Cattleman’s steak sandwich dinner is going to be at the Entertainment Plaza from 5-8pm, and the 4-H State Fair static exhibit qualifier pictures will be taken at the Livestock Backdrop Wall at 6pm. 

Dallas County Fairgrounds Director Ashley Zika tells Raccoon Valley Radio that grandstand events feature Mutton Busting and the Rodeo from 7-9pm, costing $15 for general admission, $5 for youth ages 6-12 and free for children 5 years and younger; and live music afterwards from 9pm-midnight from DJ Dallas and DJ BMoore, which is free with park admission.
