The Jefferson city-wide garage sales are happening tomorrow and Saturday.

Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says there are 31 locations that are officially on a map for people to stop and check out deals on lots of different items. He urges caution to those who are partaking in the garage sales this weekend.

“Be extra diligent with your driving this weekend, this Friday night and Saturday morning, especially. With people out garage sailing and we all know how it can be, you kind of gawk as you’re going by, ‘Do I want to stop or not?’ And so people will be going slow, people will be pulling in and out of parking spots, kids running around. Just a lot more people kind of out and about this weekend. Just use a little extra time, a little extra patience, a little extra grace for us all, be considerate of those around you when you’re driving, all of that stuff.”    

The city-wide garage sales are from 4-7pm tomorrow and 8am-noon on Saturday.
