The regular season has been completed for the Perry Summer Swim Team.  The club saw tremendous success the last month winning all eight of their meets.  One last challenge remains on the schedule.  This Saturday the Iowa West Swim Conference will host their conference meet in Carroll.  The ten member schools will all compete with the range of swimmers being 5-18 years old.  Coach Sophia McDevitt wants to ride the regular season momentum into the last meet of the year.

Well obviously the goal of the bat is to get first place which we have not done in a long time.  That’s the ultimate goal but we are just shooting for first, second, or third because the top three at the conference meet get a trophy.  We are already getting the first place season trophy so we’re super excited about that so it would be really nice to have two blue trophies.”

The Perry Summer Swim Team will take the Carroll pool this Saturday for the conference meet.
