Hailee Bingham launched a three run homer in the fifth to end the Perry softball season in Boone Thursday 4-0.

Playoff softball kicked off for the Jayettes in Region 7 in 4A on Thursday.  Perry held their own except in the fifth inning.  The Toreadors used a four run fifth in the win.  Bingham homered off Tina Kanealy to give Boone the lead that was never undone.

Carly Busch was dominate in the complete game victory as the senior struck out nine.

Kanealy took the loss as she surrendered four runs, six hits, and one walk.

Boone out hit Perry six to five.  Taryn Nehring has two of those hits.

The first year of Emma Olejniczak finished 7-13-1 as the Jayettes are eliminated.
