After a tough battle on Wednesday, the Panorama Panthers softball team fell to East Marshall 9-1 in the second round of regionals. Coach Galvan reflected on Panorama’s performance against the Mustangs stating,
“Our girls came ready to go and accepted the challenge ahead of them. My girls played tough and made some plays to keep it a close game through the first four innings. East Marshall’s pitcher did a good job of keeping us off balance through the night but we had great approaches at the plate. Sad to see the season end but I am so proud of the girls for keeping the energy and focus up through out the season. Tough for my seniors in Steenblock and Ewing for their high school careers to come to a close but I know they will do great things in their next chapter in life. They are two great kids who gave a lot to the program over the last five years and wish them nothing but the best! We are a young team overall and this Panther team will get back to work this off season and look forward to next season with what Panorama has coming back.”
