
Lili Gilbert would be named the MVP by the Wildcat softball team due to her performance in the second round of regional softball action against the Interstate 35 Roadrunners. The Wildcats would battle but would fall to I-35 ending the season with a 16-13 record.
Lili Gilbert would find success against the Roadrunners and would receive the MVP award by the Wildcat team. Gilbert would end the night with two hits, an RBI, two assists and two put outs. Gilbert would be recognized for dedication by head coach Amber Clemmens stating that Gilbert, “played hard all season.”
Gilbert, one of six juniors, looks to guide WCV softball towards success as Gilbert gears up for her senior year.
