
Now that the season has come to a close for the West Central Valley Wildcats baseball team , six eighth graders joined the Wildcat varsity team and found success playing up for their first year with the team.
The Wildcats would have six eighth graders on the roster this year including: Miles Sheeler, Bryson Hadfield, Drew Teague, Carson Tigges, Caden Lane, and Ashton Wahlert. Sheeler would be the most active of the eighth graders, playing and starting in 25 games, with seven singles as his seven hits for the season with one RBI. Drew Teague would play in 18 games, ended the season with three hits and two RBIs.
All six eighth graders would get playing time this season as WCV baseball finishes up with a 8-19 record.
