A fun youth activity with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is happening soon.

JPRD Assistant Director Henry Pohlmeyer says Nerf War is this coming Wednesday, with first through third graders from 1-2pm and fourth through sixth graders from 2:30-3:30pm at the Greene County Community Center. He advises kids who are wanting to participate in this activity to follow this instruction.

“Key emphasis of that is we have only a limited number of (nerf) guns to hand out there. So if you do have a nerf gun at home, we suggest definitely bring those, especially if you have one of the overpowered ones that the kids like to bring in and play with.”
