The next Perry Chamber of Commerce’s Farmer’s Market is coming up this Thursday.

According to Director Lynsi Pasutti, the third Thursday of each month centers around a special themed event, as this one revolves around Community Night. Pasutti elaborates on what that all entails.

“It’s an opportunity for our local non-profit and civic organizations to come out and share information about what they’re doing. So we have some special guests that pop up. It’s just a fun night to have some new faces at the market and learn more about ways to get involved in the community.”

Pasutti mentions that a variety of non-profit organizations will venture out each year, as the Raccoon River Valley Pet Rescue has been a highlight for her the last few years. The Community Night at the Perry Farmer’s Market is taking place on Thursday from 4-7pm in the downtown area on 2nd Street.
