Tomorrow everyone is invited to check out some live music in Jefferson.
Tower View Team with Jefferson Matters are hosting the 3rd Annual Porch Fest, which includes performances on four front porches and ends at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens, on the southeast corner of the downtown square. Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says each individual show is going to be amazing, with the main act of Weary Ramblers and Jefferson’s own Chad Elliott to wrap up the event.
“That is a really cool thing that our Tower View Team has done. And quick shoutout to Jefferson Telecom for helping to sponsor that too (and) help it keep it being a free event. Free doesn’t mean not good, free doesn’t mean there’s not value there, free means we have great support, and something you should absolutely take advantage of.”
The first performance takes place at 1:30pm and the final show with the Weary Ramblers is from 5:30-7pm at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens. The musicians, the times and locations can be found below.
1:30pm: Singer/songwriter Robert Deitch at 503 South Locust Street
2:30pm: The Days at 506 South Wilson Avenue
