
The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session Monday night.
The Council will consider for approval bids received for tree removal, a seal highway railcam, and hear an update on the wastewater operator position. They will also set a public hearing on the sale of real estate at 611 North Gaines Street, and consider for approval a loan agreement providing for the placement and issuance of $238,000 taxable general obligation insurance funding note and providing for the levy of taxes for the same amount.
The Council will then consider for approval sewer and garbage fees at the request of Councilmember Cory Kirkpatrick, before holding a discussion on a preliminary review of long-term financing scenarios paying off project notes and a potential timeline for City Council review. The final items for consideration include a road use report resolution, a resolution prohibiting construction traffic on Northeast 2nd Street (residential), a certified site plan evaluation agreement for services, partial pay estimate 15 to McAninch Corporation for $46,289.68, a Region XII Council of Governments local income survey for a Community Development Block Grant, and a proposal for All Saints Lot 33.
