The season has ended for AC/GC Chargers summer sports, and there were some good numbers throughout the teams across all grades.

For the softball team, 8th grader Tessa Slaybaugh started in five of the 11 games she played, with four at bats. She recorded four put outs and total chances in the fielding statistics.

For the baseball team, junior Tommy Skram started all 24 of the team’s games, with 30 hits and 33 runs on 72 at bats. He also recorded 26 single base hits, two doubles and two triples, along with 15 RBIs. Skram was walked 23 times, hit by pitch once, reached on error four times and struck out seven times, giving him 36 total bases, a .417 batting average, .563 on base percentage and .500 slugging percentage.

Skram was successful on 28 of 29 stolen base attempts, and tallied seven assists, 52 put outs, two errors and a .967 fielding percentage. On the mound, he had a record of 1-3, with 20.1 innings pitched, 434 pitches thrown, and faced 95 opposing batters. Skram allowed 35 hits and 31 runs, with 22 of those being earned. He walked 16 and hit five batters, along with allowing three sacrifice plays, and struck out 22 batters for an earned run average of 7.57 and walks and hits per inning pitched of 2.51.
