Sophia Baumon homered and doubled to propel Dallas Center Grimes over Glenwood 8-0 Saturday in Dallas Center.

The Mustangs showed why they were the top seed in Region 2 in 4A.  DCG made quick work of visitors from Glenwood in the six inning win.

Tessa Jones picked up the complete game win.  The sophomore struck out 11 while giving up just two hits.

DCG had 14 hits.  Addie Abbens had three to lead the club.

The Mustangs improve to 32-7 and advance to the Regional Final on Tuesday as they host Creston.
