The Perry baseball season ended on Saturday after a 16-1 loss in Ballard.

The Bluejays struck first as Geren Kenney scored in the first after three first inning hits for Perry.  It was all Bombers following that moment as the top seed in Substate 7 in 3A scored 16 unanswered.

Mason Hayes took the loss in two innings of work.

The year ends for Perry with a 3-24 record.  All three wins came in Heart of Iowa competitions.  The Bluejays finished in 9th place.

Perry will lose three integral parts to the squad Geren Kenney, Owen Myers, and Gabe Beato.
