
The Panorama Panthers softball team look towards success in the upcoming seasons as this year’s Panther squad was primarily underclassmen. Five eighth graders would be called up to join the Panther varsity squad, with two becoming key members of the Panther team.
Lexi Galvan would join the squad this year as an eighth grader and would become Panorama’s ace pitcher. Galvan would finish this season with a 5-8 record on the mound, starting in 14 games while pitching for 75.2 innings with 55 strikeouts and a 7.03 ERA, the lowest of the team. Ines Gimeno-Perez would play in 24 games while starting in 13. Perez would end her eighth grade season with 13 hits, four RBIs and had three stolen bases. Galvan would also find success in the batters box, ending the season with 41 hits leading the Panthers in hits.
Panther softball ends their season with a 9-22 record and are excited for more growth as the young team found plenty of success this season.
