5:17pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 235th Street and Q Avenue.
Friday, July 11th
10:33pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 600 block of South 15th Street, Grand Junction.
Saturday, July 12th
12:05pm: Larissa Beaty 42 of Ankeny was booked into the jail for a violation of probation.
12:53pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Madison Street, Scranton.
3:55pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of Hill Street, Churdan.
4:57pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.
5:12pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near A Avenue.
5:23 pm a deputy investigated an accident in the 1000 block of N Avenue. Craig Flack of Jefferson was turning into his driveway in a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado with a trailer with a lawn mower on it. Flack’s trailer was struck by Carl Berglund of Dayton who was driving a 2008 Toyota Tacoma. Flack’s trailer had an estimated 1,000 dollars damage and the lawn mover that was on the trailer rolled into the ditch causing an estimated 15,000 dollars damage. The Tacoma was totaled in the accident. Berglund was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
5:54pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 1800 block of Redwood Avenue.
Sunday, July 13th
12:13am: A deputy assisted a motorist on 240th Street near H Avenue.
4:31am: Travis Heinz 32 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for driving while suspended, trespass 1st offense, contempt- violation of a no contact order, and domestic abuse assault serious.
9:35am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on U Avenue near 200th Street. John Sweeny of Carroll was driving a 2021 Toyota Sienna and struck a deer. The estimated damage to the Sienna is 10,000 dollars.
11:39am: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1300 block of 260th Street.
8:11pm: A deputy investigated a dog running at large complaint in the 600 block of Sand Street, Churdan.
10:21pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on D Avenue near 120th Street.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
