The West Central Valley Wildcat softball team would bring up five eighth graders to join the Wildcat varsity squad this season as: Mila Orr, Paige Bleckwehl, Landrie Light, Lily Clausen, and Gabriella McIntire would begin their high school softball careers a season early.

Orr, Bleckwehl, and Clausen would become crucial members of this years Wildcat squad  as Orr and Bleckwehl would start and play in all 28 games this season. Bleckwehl would be the Wildcats starting catcher, throwing out 13 runners this season attempting to steal while allowing 32 as an eighth grader. Mila Orr would find success in the batters box, with the fourth highest amount of hits on the team with 23 hits this season while also being fourth in RBIs with 15. Clasuen would end her first season with WCV with 14 singles for 14 hits, 18 RBIs and 43 put outs.

Wildcat softball looks to return even stronger next season as WCV only graduates two seniors form this year’s squad.
