The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.
The Council denied an application for work within the right of way near 207 West Market Street to plant two trees, citing previous decisions to not allow the planting of trees in right of ways due to utilities needing to remove them. The also approved interfund transfers for the skid loader project, a purchase agreement with Shottenkirk Chevrolet for the purchase of a 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 for $49,972, and discussed Title I General Provisions and Title II Policy and Administration of the updated 2025 code of ordinances.
