Perry softball collected seven wins in the first year for Emma Olejniczak.  Cate Erickson was a large part of the team’s success in 2025.

The multisport athlete took over in centerfield and slid into the top of the order this season.  As a freshman, Cate was named Second Team All Heart of Iowa.  One year older, she put together a very similar numbers.  The right handed swinger hit .373 and scored a team high 14 runs.  The outfielder had three doubles and one triple.  The State Track Qualifier was successful on all three of her stolen base attempts.

Cate Erickson will remain an integral part as Coach Olejniczak looks to grow the Perry softball program.
