
Dallas County will be represented in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union’s State Softball Tournament, as Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School is making their fifth straight appearance.
In the regional round, ADM was awarded the number one seed for the Class 4A Region 4 bracket, and hosted MOC-Floyd Valley in Adel in the semifinal round this past Saturday, July 12th, winning 11-1 in four innings. The Tigers advanced to the regional final game against the Warriors of Sergeant Bluff-Luton on Tuesday, grabbing a 12-1 victory to qualify for the state tournament for the fifth year in a row.
ADM will now face Dallas Center-Grimes on Monday on the Iowa Central Field at the Harlan Sports Complex in Fort Dodge at 10:30am. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF.
